Getting started
Prompt Sheet opens with 26 example prompts across six categories, so there is something to try straight away. Edit them, delete them, or add your own.
- Tick the prompts you want.
- Check the preview at the bottom — it shows exactly what will be copied.
- Press Copy.
- Paste into any AI chat, document or email.
Common questions
How do I get my prompts on my other devices?
On each device, open Settings and set Where your prompts live to iCloud. All the devices must be signed in to the same Apple ID.
Your libraries merge rather than overwrite each other, so prompts written on two devices while offline both survive.
I bought the full version but another device still shows the limit.
Open Settings and tap Restore Purchase. The device must be signed in to the same Apple ID you bought with.
Purchases usually carry across on their own within a few minutes. Restore is there for when the App Store has not caught up yet.
What happens after the 30-day trial?
Nothing is deleted. You keep all 26 starter prompts, plus the first 20 you wrote yourself, free and working for as long as you like.
Prompts beyond that stay on screen and can still be read and edited — they simply cannot be ticked into a copy until you unlock the app. Unlocking brings all of them back immediately.
How do I back up or move my prompts?
Settings → Export writes a plain JSON file you can keep anywhere. Import brings it back, either merging with what is already there or replacing it.
The file is readable text, so you are never locked in.
My prompts have not appeared on a new device.
Check three things: iCloud Drive is switched on in the device's own Settings; the device is signed in to the same Apple ID; and Prompt Sheet's own setting is on iCloud rather than "This device".
Syncing can take a minute or two the first time. If it still has not arrived, email us.
Can I use it with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot?
Yes — with all of them, and with anything else. Prompt Sheet only writes to your clipboard, so wherever you can paste, it works. It never connects to an AI service itself.
Does it work offline?
Yes, completely. The internet is only needed to sync through iCloud or to take a payment.
I want a refund.
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple, so refunds go through them rather than us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase.
How do I delete everything?
Delete the app from your device. To remove the synced copy as well, open your device's Settings, go to your Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage, find Prompt Sheet and delete its data.
Requirements
- Mac — macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. Apple silicon and Intel.
- iPhone and iPad — iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.
- Sync — an iCloud account, only if you want it.
Reporting a problem
If something is broken, tell us and we will look at it. Please include the app version (Settings shows it), your device and operating system, what you expected to happen and what happened instead.
Feature requests are welcome at the same address.
